The Countdown is almost over. We board our plane tomorrow night to travel across the country to the one of the world's greatest cities...New York. The interns have an exciting 24 hours ahead of them...
Justine is playing in the state 3A Championship Softball game today at 4pm in Corvallis and tomorrow morning she takes her SAT's, then packing, goodbyes and then it's off to the airport.
Hannah finished her finals up yesterday, and is spending today at the Cultural Resourcs office gathering information.
Myriah is finishing her finals as I type...she had to take all 8 this week!
I am so proud of these young women. They exemplify the definition of hardwork and dedication. In order to be selected as an intern they competed in a pool of 11 extremely qualified tribal youth through applications, letters of reference, GPA, activities, and a panel interview.
In just 40 hours they will have their feet on the ground in NYC.
